The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE) 2024 is an annual entrance exam administered by SRM Institute of Science and Technology for admission to the institute's undergraduate engineering programs. 1.SRMJEE Exam 2024 Important Dates :


    • Application Start Date: November 10, 2023
    • Last day to apply for Phase 1: April 13, 2024.
    • Phase 1 exam dates: April 19-21, 2024.
    • Last date to apply for Phase 2: June 15, 2024
    • Phase 2 Exam Dates: June 21–23, 2024 

2.ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA:

Nationality : Indian nationals, NRIs, PIOs, and OCI card holders are eligible to apply for the SRMJEEE.

Age Requirements: Candidates must have been born between July 1, 2001, and July 1, 2006. The date of birth provided on the Secondary Education Board/University certificate shall be regarded authentic.

Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have completed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology required courses.

Minimum Marks: The qualifying test requires a minimum of 50% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) for the Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, and Vadapalani campuses, and 45% for the NCR, Delhi campus, and SRM AP. Biotechnology, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, and genetic engineering programs typically require a minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology).

  • Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Genetic Engineering, and Bioprocess Engineering:
  • Candidates must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent exam in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science from a recognized board.
  • Candidates must have obtained a 50% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science). 
For International Baccalaureate (IB) candidates: Candidates who have passed their IB diploma with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Biology as required subjects are also eligible to apply for the SRMJEEE.

Direct Admission: Toppers of central and state examinations in India, top 1000 rankers in IIT JEE, top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu, and outstanding athletes at the national and international levels are all eligible for direct admission.

Reservation Policy: SRM University follows the reservation policy outlined by the Government of India. 


EXAM PATTERN & SYLLABUS:


SRMJEEE Exam Pattern:


Mode of Exam: SRMJEEE is typically administered online (Computer-Based Test).

Time Duration: The test normally lasts two hours and thirty minutes.

Type of Questions: The questions in SRMJEEE are multiple-choice (MCQs).

Mathematics: Topics include Sets, Relations, and Functions, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations, Matrices, Determinants, and their properties, Permutations and Combinations, Mathematical Induction and its applications, Binomial theorem and its applications, Sequences and Series, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Two-dimensional Geometry, Three-dimensional Geometry, Vector Algebra, Measures of Central Tendency and Dispersion, Probability, and Trigonometry.

Biology: Topics typically include Botany and Zoology syllabus of the 10+2 level, covering topics like Cell Biology, Plant Taxonomy, Plant Anatomy, Genetics, Biotechnology, Human Physiology, Microbiology, and Immunology.



APPLICATION PROCESS:


1. Registration:
  • Visit SRM Institute of Science and Technology's official website.
  • Search for the SRMJEEE application portal.
  • Register by entering basic information such as your name, email address, and mobile number.
  • You will also need to select a password for your account.

2. Fill Application Form:
  • After successfully registering, log in to your account with the credentials you created.

3. Upload documents:
  • Upload scanned copies of your most recent passport-sized image and signature that meet the specified dimensions and file size requirements.
