KIITEE Exam 2024

 



KIITEE, or the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology admission Examination, is an admission exam administered by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
The exam is required for admission to KIIT University's undergraduate and postgraduate programs. These programs cover a wide range of fields, including engineering, law, management, and computer applications.

2. ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA:

  •  Nationality: Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
  • Age Limit:
    • For undergraduate courses: Candidates should be born on or after July 1, 2001.
    • For postgraduate courses: There is no age limit specified.
  • Educational Qualification:
    • For B.Tech/ B.Tech & M.Tech (Dual Degree):
    • Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board with at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
    • Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in 10+2.
    • Candidates appearing for 10+2 examinations in the current year are also eligible to apply.

  • For B.Tech (LE):
    • Candidates should have a three-year diploma course in Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education (SCTE) or equivalent.
    • Candidates should be born on or before July 1, 1999.
  • For M.Tech:
    • Candidates should have a BE/B.Tech degree or equivalent in the respective discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
    • GATE qualified candidates are exempted from appearing in KIITEE.
  • For MCA:
    • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 level or graduate level.
    • Candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate.
    • Candidates should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 or graduation level.
    • Candidates appearing for the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
  • For MBA:
    • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
    • Candidates should have appeared for CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT or KIITEE Management.
    • Candidates appearing for the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

  • For M.Sc (Biotechnology/Applied Microbiology):
    • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Science/Agriculture/Pharmacy/Veterinary/Engineering/Technology/Medicine (MBBS/BDS) with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
    • Candidates should have studied Chemistry as one of the main subjects at the undergraduate level.
    • Candidates should have studied Biology/Mathematics at 10+2 level.
  • For M.Sc Nursing:
    • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with at least 55% aggregate marks.
    • Candidates should have one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing.
    • Candidates should be registered with State Nursing Council.
  • For M.Sc in Applied Physics/Electronics:
    • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Science with at least 55% aggregate marks.
    • Candidates should have studied Physics as one of the main subjects at the undergraduate level.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Candidates must fulfill all the requirements as prescribed by the KIIT University for the respective courses.

2. EXAM PATTERN:

1.Mode of Examination:

  • KIITEE is typically conducted in online mode (Computer Based Test).

2.Duration:

4.Application Process:

1. Registration:
  • Visit KIITEE official website.
  • Search for the KIITEE application portal.
  • Register by entering basic information such as your name, email address, and mobile number.
  • You will also need to select a password for your account.

2. Fill Application Form:
  • After successfully registering, log in to your account with the credentials you created.
  • Fill out the application form with the necessary personal, academic, and contact information.
  • Ensure that all of the information provided is correct and reflects your official documentation.
3. Upload documents:
  • Upload scanned copies of your most recent passport-sized image and signature that meet the specified dimensions and file size requirements.
  • To avoid complications during the application process, make sure the documents are clear and follow the necessary requirements.
4. Select the Exam Center:
  • Select your favorite exam center from the list of available choices. KIITEE exam centers are often found in major cities around India. 
5. Payment of application fees:
  • Pay the application cost using the various payment methods (credit/debit card, net banking, etc.).
  • The application fee and payment options will be listed on the official website.
  • After making a successful payment, make sure to obtain a transaction confirmation.
6.Review and submit:
  • Before submitting the application, review all of the information on the form.
  • Make any necessary changes.
  • Once you're certain that all of the information is correct, submit the application form.
7. Print the Confirmation Page:
  • After submitting the application form, a confirmation page will appear.
  • Download and print the confirmation sheet for your records and future correspondence.
8. Admit Card Download:
  • Once the application procedure is complete and the exam dates have been released, you can download your admit card from the official website.
  • The admit card includes vital information such as the exam date, time, location, and directions for the exam day.
  • Bring a printout of the admit card to the exam center, together with a valid photo ID verification.
9. Appear for the exam:
  • On the designated exam date, arrive at the exam center well before the reporting time indicated on the admit card.
  • During the examination, follow all of the directions provided by the exam authorities.

10. Result Declaration:
  • Following the examination, the KIITEE will publish the KIITEE results on its official website.
  • Check your results by logging in to your account using the credentials you supplied.
11. Counseling and admission:
  • Qualified candidates will be contacted for counseling based on their KIITEE exam scores.
  • Attend the counseling session according to the schedule set by the institute.
