B Tech Aerospace Engineering
ToC
Overview:
Learning about aerospace engineering can inspire awe at the seemingly unlimited potential of human flight and space exploration. B Tech Aerospace Engineering students learn the skills required to develop, manufacture, and maintain spacecraft, aircraft, missiles, and other systems. Aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering are the field's two primary, overlapping sections, which have traditionally focused on atmospheric and space travel concerns.During your BE aeronautical Engineering studies, you will be able to work on actual projects that apply engineering principles to real-world aeronautical challenges. It encompasses a wide range of topics, including the research and manufacture of missiles, propulsion systems, satellites, and aircraft, as well as the design and testing of aerospace and aviation-related commodities, components, and assemblies.
Salient Features -
- Aerospace technical facilitates research and use scientific and mathematical methodologies to address complex technical challenges.
- Many aerospace engineering students work on hands-on projects and do research to obtain practical expertise in aircraft and spaceship design.
- The capacity to study and design the geometry and structure of aircraft and spacecraft to improve performance and efficiency.
- Responsible for the design and development of propulsion systems such as jet engines, rocket engines, and hybrid propulsion systems. They work to improve the fuel efficiency, thrust, and overall performance of the systems.
Eligibility & Admission
Eligibility for B.E./B.Tech:
- Students must have taken the 10+2/PUC/equivalent examination from a recognized board or university, with Physics, Math, and Computer Science as obligatory courses, and have an aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC).
- The student should be 17 years old by December 2023.
- Students must have passed at least one of the following entry exams: JEE, CET, or UPSEE.
The ranking in the JEE national entrance exam, the KCET state-level entrance exam, or the direct university entrance exams determines whether a student is admitted to a B.E. or B. Tech program. Some colleges give places depending on students' performance on their 12th-grade exams. Please familiarise yourself with the various Entrance tests, the associated dates for the exams, and the cut-off in colleges as there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to admission.
