Eligibility & Admission

Eligibility for B.E./B.Tech:

  • Students must have taken the 10+2/PUC/equivalent examination from a recognized board or university, with Physics, Math, and Computer Science as obligatory courses, and have an aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC).
  • The student should be 17 years old by December 2023.
  • Students must have passed at least one of the following entry exams: JEE, CET, or UPSEE.
Admission Process

The ranking in the JEE national entrance exam, the KCET state-level entrance exam, or the direct university entrance exams determines whether a student is admitted to a B.E. or B. Tech program. Some colleges give places depending on students' performance on their 12th-grade exams. Please familiarise yourself with the various Entrance tests, the associated dates for the exams, and the cut-off in colleges as there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to admission.

Entrance Exams for Admission to B.E/B. Tech  Aerospace Engineering

To pursue a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, students must first take the National Entrance Examination (JEE) or State-level Entrance Exams such as KCET, MHT CET, WBJEE, or COMED-K, followed by University Entrance Exams. These examinations are critical entry points for aspiring students seeking admission to reputable universities.

Here are the details of the Top Entrance Exams for Engineering

  • The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the JEE Main exam online over a three-hour period.
  • The Indian Institute of Technology conducts the JEE Advanced (IIT JEE) exam online with a duration of three hours.
  • The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) administers the KCET exam in offline format for one hour and twenty minutes.
  • The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam conducts the WBJEE exam in offline mode for a length of two hours.
  • The Maharashtra Government conducts the MHT- CET test in offline mode with a time constraint of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Future Scope

After earning a B.E. or B. Tech degree, an aerospace engineer can pursue one of four primary career pathways.
