Overview-

Electronics and communication engineering is one of the most flexible fields of engineering. It is one of the highest-paying engineering programs in India and around the world. Course Duration: 

The UG degree in Electronics and Communication is for 4 years from any university in the country for 10+2 students and is 3 years for Diploma graduates.

-Responsibilities include conducting research and applying mathematical and scientific ideas to address complicated engineering problems.
-Ability to specify the concept, construct the prototype, and Analog, Digital, or Embedded Technology - Design for Electronic Signal Processing
-Commandable understanding of the performance of wired and wireless analog and digital communication systems.

Syllabus-

The B.Tech ECE engineering course covers fundamental concepts in electronics and their applications in communication systems. The ECE curriculum, which aims to provide complete information about ECE engineering, covers a wide range of topics.B.Tech ECE is a four-year undergraduate degree divided into eight semesters. Eligibility & Admission:

Eligibility for Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology:


  • Students must have taken the 10+2/PUC/equivalent examination from a recognized board or university, with Physics, Math, and Computer Science as obligatory courses, and have an aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC).
  • The student should be 17 years old by the Admission Year.
  • Students must have passed one of the following entry exams: JEE, CET, COMEDK, WBJEE, or UPSEE.
Admission Process:

Admission to B.E/B. Tech programs is dependent on a rating in the National Entrance Examination (JEE), a state-level Entrance Exam like as the KCET, or direct university entrance exams. The JEE Mains exams are held in two stages. The first phase of JEE was held at the end of January 2023, while the second phase will take place in April. Some institutions give seats based on 12th-grade exam merit. There is no one-size-fits-all strategy to admission, so please become acquainted with the various entrance tests and the relevant dates for the exams and cut-offs in colleges.

Entrance Exams for Admission to B.E/B.Tech Ece:

To pursue a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, students must take the National Entrance Examination (JEE), State-level Entrance Exams such as KCET, MHT CET, WBJEE, or COMED-K, and University Entrance Exams. These examinations are critical entry points for aspiring students seeking admission to reputable universities.

  • The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the JEE Main exam online over a three-hour period.
