Eligibility Criteria
Under-Graduate
B.Tech
- Passed the 2nd PUC/ 12th / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages with a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics/ Computers.
- Taking any one entrance exam is Mandatory. CET/ COMED-K / JEE / AIEEE
For Diploma Holders
- Secured a Minimum of 50% marks in the final examination by the Board of Technical Examination
- The Common Entrance Test (DCET) for Diploma students will be conducted by the CET Cell, Govt. of Karnataka.
- Seats will be allotted during the centralized counseling process conducted by the CET Cell.
For NRI Students
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by AIU with 45% aggregate in PCM & English.
Post-Graduate
MTech
- Relevant BE/BTech degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for Karnataka SC/ST category) from a recognized university.
- Entrance Exam (anyone): PGCET/GATE in the core specialization
Master of Computer Application (MCA)
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized university.

The UG Admission Process at RMIT takes place through any one of the following

Common Entrance Test (CET)
- KEA conducts CET which is approved by Govt. of Karnataka
- This exam proves as a gateway to obtain an engineering seat through the Government quota.
- CET conducts examinations in four subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
- Depending upon the scores and ranking, At CET Counseling, Students can choose CMRIT
COMEDK
- COMEDK conducts entrance examinations for all students irrespective of state.
- Centralized counseling will be conducted based on the test scores.
- In counseling, they can choose CMRIT.
Management Admission
- Candidates will be selected based on their academic merit and performance

Hostel & Accommodation:
Semi-furnished rooms with High-Speed Wi-Fi connectivity, CCTV cameras, a TV with cable connection, 24-hour power backup, and biometrics for student attendance. On-campus security is available around the clock. A high-tech kitchen with cutting-edge equipment, RO water provision, Fresh and nutritious food, a laundry facility, and indoor games are all available.
Library:
A large section of expensive encyclopaedias, Reference Books, and a large number of Textbooks related to engineering and technology, management, commerce, medical and health and life sciences, legal studies, Ayurveda Humanities and Social Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and other related fields are also included in the Library Collection. In addition, students, professors, and staff have access to the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) resources, which include 6.9 lakh books, 4.2 crore research papers, 3800+ audio lectures, 7.5 lakh theses, and 4.6 lakh video lectures. It is available at https://ndl.iitkgp.ac.in. The RIMT University Dron Knowledge Centre comprises a Central Library and nine Council Libraries located in various Academic Blocks.
Sports Facilities:
Two basketball courts, a football pitch, a volleyball court, indoor table tennis courts, a cricket arena, and two gyms with equipment are all available. Hockey, Kho-Kho, and Kabaddi have their own teams, as do football, basketball, cricket, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, throw the ball, athletics, swimming, chess, and other sports.

Laboratory:
The college offers a lab infrastructure that includes over 300 workstations that can be used to run online examinations concurrently as part of campus placement campaigns.
